Hi there, I’m Kara Sainsbury
I am the proud owner of Loose Ends Salon. With 18 years of experience working behind the chair, I can confidently say that I still love what I do. My passion for hair goes beyond just cutting and styling, it's about building relationships and i'm making my clients feel confident and beautiful. When I graduating from both high school and beauty school in 2005, I began my career in a charming salon in Othello. After a few years, I was inspired to open my own salon in 2010. Since then, I have also opened a second location in my hometown of Moses Lake. I am grateful to be able to split my time between both locations. Specializing in the latest color techniques such as balayages, gray blending, and coverage, I am always excited to try new trends. When I am not at the salon, you can find me at home with my family, working on home projects or hosting a party. Thank you for choosing Loose Ends Salon, where it's more than just hair.

With 10 years in the industry I am so lucky to say I love my job. I love being able to connect with my clients, share some laughs and have you feeling & looking your absolute best when you leave the salon.
One of the greatest parts of my career has been the diversity of my clients, their styles, & personalities. I get to have fun each day and explore my creativity and artistry while making your hair dreams come to life.
I enjoy being versatile in my craft. I specialize in medium-long styles and I absolutely love the color world, especially balayage styles. My number one priority is always the health of my clients hair and scalp. I’m a firm believer that a hair appointment can improve your mental headspace and confidence.
When I’m not behind the chair, you can find me spending time with my little family, trying out a new recipe, in a Peloton rave, or tending to a plant or two. ;)
